“HERMES,” the third sculpture to be released in the FROGMAN “Signature Collection,” draws inspiration from Greek mythology, architecture, and classical statuary.

A mythical, winged frog, bearing the classic Frogman “old-school” patina, balances atop the capital of an archetypal Corinthian column, preparing for flight. To emphasize the significance of wings as a motif in mythology, the upper surface of the wings are highly polished to a rich, golden finish.

The Corinthian-style column is offered in a choice of two options- a waxed antique brown and a speckled, stone-like waxed patina. Either patina masterfully replicates the elements and finishes associated with classical statuary. Hermes- Tim Cotterill’s homage to ancient mythology’s continued influence on modern culture.
