Sean Moore - Owner
Art has always been a part of my life. Even as a child, I spent hours drawing, letting my imagination spill onto the page. By the time I was 5 years old, I was convinced I'd grow up to be an artist. However, life took me on a different journey. After college, I entered the corporate world, and for the next 25 years I built a career as an executive in the management consulting and technology industries. One of my early assignments in 2000 was a yearlong consulting role in The Netherlands. During this period, I was fortunate to travel to many European countries, which ignited my lifelong passion for travel that has since brought me to over 70 countries.
Whenever I traveled for work or pleasure, I'd seek out local art to appreciate and collect. A gallery in Prague, the Monkey Temple of Kathmandu, the beach in Rio de Janeiro, a canal in Venice, Gorky Park in Moscow, and the streets of Beijing. Art became a central interest, a hobby that provided me joy and inspiration even as I found success in the business world. But after many years of climbing the corporate ladder, I felt a strong pull to do something different with my life.
I realized that I wanted to work for myself and build a legacy to share with my wife and my young children. I became drawn to the idea of buying my own business, and the universe sent me a sign when I discovered Fascination St. Fine Art was for sale. It was an established business with a history spanning over 30 years when I bought it in June 2023. I was so fortunate to join an incredible team with tremendous experience, and together we are now building on the legacy of the gallery while taking on some massive digital transformation initiatives. Owning the gallery has brought me a level of happiness and fulfillment that I hadn't experienced before in my professional life. I have a renewed purpose and focus. The best part is that my wife thinks I'm a more present and engaged husband and father since embarking on this venture.
At our art gallery, our mission is to unravel the silent love language of art, fostering an environment where individuals can experience emotional connections and quiet revelations. We believe in the transformative power of art to transcend words and speak directly to the soul, evoking a range of emotions and sparking moments of wonder, introspection, and enlightenment.
